Sambhram Medical College, KGF
COMMERCIAL | 150 kW
Sambhram Institute of Medical Sciences and Research is a unit of Sambhram Charitable Trust (R), which was formed in 1991. The Institute has been developed in an area of 30 acres of land to house a fully-equipped 650-bed multispeciality hospital.
With an aim to reduce the cost of electricity, Kaval Power installed a 150 kWp power system that generates 18,000 units of electricity annually from solar power. It directly powers the college campus, including the classrooms, laboratories and offices. It has created an awareness about green energy among the college students.
