Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Medical College was established in the year 1981 to serve the weaker sections of the society, especially those who were challenged socially, educationally and economically.
The requirement was to generate solar power sufficient for supporting the entire college campus. Kaval Power installed 213kWp solar power system which generates 3,60,000 units of electricity annually. This powers the entire college campus, including classrooms, laboratories and office.
